Crossley Aviation Wagon in Irish service
Permalink

I put up here about a year ago a  Lancia armoured lorry from the Anglo-Irish War 1919-1921 and now I would like to show the second half, a 1919 Crossley Aviation Wagon like this.

Starting with the radiator and the bare bones chasiss.

A basic coat of Humbrol Khaki and several misted coats of buff and finished

regards

Excellent well done, lovly job
I would say that was a difficult model to sketch build perticularly with what little plans there is availably, you make it look easy well done.

Thank you, sorry I meant to say it's 1/35th and forgot to thank Rob Langham for his very helpfull reference photos.

Dave this may sound strange but modelling stuff of this vintage is both great fun it's in my opinion quite straight forward, very few curves compound or otherwise.

Again thanks

That is absolutely stunning , and some questions if I may ? Where are the etch spokes from and also the metal lights. Are they Scale Link spares or where ?
Do you have a set of plans for the crossley ?

Paul
