I don't know if many of you guys know about archive.org, an incredible resource packed with public domain films that have been digitised. They are freely available and can be downloaded in a variety of formats.
There's a lot of government material - mainly American - and newsreels. One that you might find interesting is 'Artillery, King of Battle', an episode from the US Army TV series(!) The Big Picture:
Although it covers the use of artillery from smoothbores to today (the Korean War), there's still some interesting Great War footage, and the picture quality is surprisingly good - see the attached screengrab of a lorry towing a gun during the Great War.
