Anyone seen this on youtube, unfortualtly there is no sound but i only think its music. Shame it was not a running comentry on how the RC bit was done, just as good as my MK IV which i am meaning to put on the forum which is all done now. This guy also does other tanks. Anyone know him.

An impressive achievement to get all that in such a small package, It runs really well.

Thanks for sharing that, the trucks and armoured cars look good as well, now where's my Rolls Royce AC?

The video didn't work for me last night. complained of an error when I paused it and enlarged the screen, but I've just seen it now and it's really, really good. The fine details - all those tiny pins to hold parts together, and it somehow has small enough R/C eqpt to fit inside! Well, nearly, you can see a circuit board painted over on the underside, and gears sticking through the floor, but that's nitpicking. The paint is very convincingly done (shame it's a WW2 scheme) and it moves just like the real thing. I might even say it's the best model tank I've yet laid eyes on. Well done, whoever it was, and thanks BC312 for posting the link.

You think this model is great, wait until you see this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aeaymeDUJk&list=UU-b7asI-KZA6KUbQnTZsx1A&index=4&feature=plcp

even the turret revolves and the gun elevates up and down. They make them to order as well, anyone dealt with them. Wouldn't mind one myself.

Yep, I found that one too after you put me on the hunt for RC tanks. Watching a second time, it moves better than I remembered, but it doesn't have the finesse that the sprung suspension of the other one does; that said, I'm impressed that radio can be applied to turret and cannon as well in such a small package - it's only about 14cm long!
If it interests, I'll attempt to post a link (never done it before) to a steam powered 1/16 tank I found during my hunt. The idea of a live steam 1/16 scale scatchbuilt US steam tank (tracklaying) has crossed my mind (albeit only in pipedreams), so this appealed to me - it makes a lovely noise!
