Having one of those "Doh!" 'Homer moments' here... as in why the chuff didn't I buy it when I saw it years ago in Foyles for £25?
I am referring to the original German language Motorbuch Verlag board cover book of WJS's R und VK.
Before I decide to rectify that mistake online for a huge mark-up, does anybody know of an English imprint of this title? I know a lot of WSJ volumes were published in the US as white cover English language editions BUT this one seems to be one of the few exceptions, and I can't find a record of an MBVerlag English edition either [big hitters like The Panther & it's variants came in either flavours right off the bat].
I have a full PDF of R und VK but it simplay ain't the same and as if the huge turn of the century artillery tractors weren't enough of a score the book ends up on my favourite dinky little Raupenschlepper Ost too, with the fully amphibious boat-hull version.
Thanks for an ISBN or URL info on any English language R und VK.

Righto, just had a definitive answer on this one from Motorbooks... 'No', Rad un Vollketten was only ever issued as a German language book - two know editions one with picture boards and one with a DJ, content of both being the same.
So, if you want all the turn of the century artillery tractor, experimental stuff, Uberlandwagen and inter-war goodness but don't want to pay out for something you cannot read, there is a full PDF scan of the book available online through any major fileshare search engine which was 'grolly free' according to my anti-virus. It was a few months ago when I bagged it BUT I do recall finding it just by searching 'spielberger rad vollketten' on Google, so I don't think it is buried that deep on the web. Hope you find it & enjoy it, it this sort of thing is your bag.
