Excellent work as usual Hans, and you have brought back some fond memories for me. I was stationed in Osnabruck in the mid '70s. A beautiful city and very interesting too.

More eye candy from you Hans, thanks for sharing. Excellent painting, and having houses sized true to scale looks quite impressive.

Which model show are you referring to?

The sheer scale of it is very impressive.

Hello Hans,

a wonderful Dio you show us here. The houses are very nice builds. The pictures reflected a natural atmosphere. Perhaps some trees are missing in the small village wink

Cheers

Michel

Hi Hans,

Very nice indeed and like Michel says, very nice houses. The white houses look very natural "old" they really look like the  (white painted) buildings here in Flanders (Mos, invloeden van het weer...sorry I don't know English terms but Hans knows what I mean).

Really impressive work! Just one thing though, with all the damaged buildings, should there be a few shellholes in the town as well?

Hans, you've done a really lovely job with this, it's much more extensive than I imagined it would be. It really shows why 1/72 is such a popular scale - you simply couldn't model a scene like this in something like 1/35, it would take up far too much space.
Well done sir; the expanse of your diorama has nicely captured what can easily be forgotten when looking at photos of the western front - the huge area of the battlefield, in comparison with the men and their equipment.

Would be nice to see a similarly large treatment of the muddy morass of Third Ypres.

Thank you,TinCanTadpolewink

I decided to expand my dio with 60 c/m on the left,to give some more space to the "second-wave"of tanks,it all looks a bit full with so many tanks so close to each otherhmm
