Is anything known on its organization? I'm particularly interested in whenever they used light machine guns, rifle grenades and if they had a speparate hand bomb section.
Ive found a few facts about the Russian army that might help you.
In 1914 each regiment had 8 machine guns.
In late 1915 they developed grenadiers. Grenadier detachments were to be a 4th platoon in each company and made up of the most energetic and brave men. Each man was armed with 10 grenades, infiltrating tools, close combat weapons, and worked with sappers to help make gaps in the oppositions defenses. So they were like Russian assault troops.
