Any Good Books on Motor Cycles?

Hi all,

I'm looking for any books on Motorcycles. I want a book similar to the Blandford Press or I-Spy books, ideally. Something with a big, colour picture on every page and covering every motor bike, from every nation, up to 1925.

Does such a book exist?

TIA

Yes it does! i had been looking for one for years and found it in September. it is written by Aldo carrer and is called Motociclette in devisa nella Grande Guerra (the motorcycles uniform during world war one). It is very good but not cheap. One copy available on Abe for $43. Now run!!!!!

Hi

This book is a cracker, although you may struggle to get it:

The Pocket Encyclopedia of Classic British Bikes by Andrew Kemp (31 Mar 2001)

Amazon had one second hand for a penny (!) so if you're quick you'll probably get a bargain

Good luck... sold my Kawasaki W650 last month, cos I'm a husband and father now, and simply don't have the time anymore :(

Hello,

This one is good considering the price I paid.  It was just $7 at Half Price Books!  The had a large stack of them in new condition, so I assume it is a bulk overstock item, meaning that they are probably available at other Half Price Book stores as well.

The World Encyclopedia of Military Motorcycles

http://www.amazon.com/The-World-Encyclopedia-Military-Motorcycles/dp/0754819604/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1337190831&sr=1-1

It is a good general survey from pre WWI to today with lots of photos.
