Bonjour,

A topic about A7V n° 562 Herkule disabled, between Rollot and Courcelles-Epayelles, during Matz Battle (9 June 1918).

A plus - Michel

Bonjour,

Nice work, but 562 only was named "Herkules" after transfer to Abt. 2 - long after Rollot. - At Rollot it was still in Abt. 1 service and carried no name at all.

Bonjour,

Thank you for information, but with the doubt of Bruno Jurkiewicz, I have just worked on real position of this tank and not study in detail topic of this revue.

A7V is not a French tank . . . . . and it's an other world for me !

Bonne soirée - Michel

Hello!
I have been there a few years ago. I used to be a lorry driver and went in a restaurant near Cuvilly for diner. I had a talk about the tank with a guy at the bar. He was a farmer and invited me to take a journey with his tractor to the hole, tank stuck in. The was a small sign which had a few infos about that incident. Unfortunately I didn´t had a camera with me. And it was dark and I was a little bit drunk...
Does someone have a photo of that sign, please?
