The W^D ones are for British cavalry. See the pic's of the masters. Notice one figure is mounting his horse. As usual all are in "relaxed" poses. The other set will be for the 6 horse gun team (British).
Well what can I say, many thanks but I think it best I stick to what I am doing now. The whole W^D thing started because I wanted 4 figures to go with the WDLR kits. Since then I have created a monster which has gone out of control !!! To start doing things in another scale would drive me totally insane!!!!!
The Musketeer Miniatures figures are 28mm. The W^D Models figures are 4mm:foot, or approximately 1/76 in theory, but look perfectly OK side-by-side with 1/72 figures.

Depends on what you want them for. For wargaming possibly so, but for models 28mm as well as being larger always has a chunkier style, so next to properly proportioned 1/76 they would look far too heavy in my opinion.

I agree. I'd never mix 28s with 1/72s or 1/76s. I was just pointing out that the figures pzkfwe showed us are 28mm, not 1/72, just in case somebody didn't notice.

Oops, I read your post incorrectly!
In any case, nice to have the choice when it comes to cavalry figures.
