Spent some ours yesterday evening on a W^D Models figure. Love the pose of this one.

That's excellent, any chance some more/higher resolution pics?

Has anyone else noticed "new and improved" seems to mean it doesn't work as well as it used to?

Now that is beautiful work, I wish my figure painting was half as good as that.

I use the following paint numbers (all Vallejo) for the French:

  • uniform  - 4 parts 901 (pastel blue) & 1 part 907 (pale greyblue)
  • helmet  - 964 (field blue)
  • gas mask box - 943 (grey blue)
  • grenade- and breadbags - 847 (dark sand)
  • tent breast roll - 819 (iraqui sand)
  • leather work - 856 (ochre brown )
  • shoes - (any dark brown)
