Santa did, indeed, find room on his sleigh for a copy. "Die deutschen Kampfwagen im Weltkriege". 2008 reprint of 1937 edition. 126 pages, with some familiar pics, plus a couple of modern photos of models. And it's in Fraktur script http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraktur, which makes for slightly heavier going than normal. Shall make a start on reading and report back.

Nice reprint, 500 numbered copies worldwide, I have one. However my German is poor and Fraktur makes it even a bit harder to understand. This book in English would be welcome by me.

Another good Volckheim's book is "Deutsche Kampfwagen greifen an!". Contrary to "Die deutschen Kampfwagen im Weltkriege", which describes battles by A7Vs and captured Mark IVs, it concentrates on A7Vs only. Of course it is also in Fraktur, but unfortunately reprint was not done. I am a lucky owner of the copy from 1937.
