I've got a strong feeling that I've either seen or might even have posted a link to an account by E. Swinton of his meeting with B. Holt in California in 1918. IIRC, it details the content of his speech. Am I imagining this, or does it ring a bell with anyone?

Ta, TCT, but S only makes a passing reference to it in "Eyewitness". I'm sure I've seen a newspaper article with photos and full text of the speech. I think I'll try the New York Times archive. Maybe it was there.
