Greetings and Salutations, It's been quite some time between posts.... Here's my latest project, the period images and drawings were all sourced from the internet after a quick google search. They are included here for discussion purposes only and to illustrate my build. It's a WW1 Poplavko - Jeffery built as photographed during its field trials at Petersburg during 1916. It would seem that the wire deflecting protusion on the front was dropped on production models but I felt it added greatly to the look & feel of the vehicle and included it. I must add that Charlie Clelland provided timely input into this project in the form of information, feedback and card model templates. Thanks mate, I appreciate the support. Two images show my first failed attempt to produce the wire deflector, it wasn't until it was installed and I looked at it head on that I saw the front hatch would foul on the frame.. Doh ! Off it came...
After a quick re think (and a smack on the back of the head) I came up with what you see here as the final design, the model is mostly complete, the weapons and wheels are resin copies produced for me by Jason Miller from Arms Corp Models, thanks mate, they look fantastic.
The last few images show the final model, it still needs some attention to certain areas that I'll do prior to placing it on a small base with a couple of resin staff officers in poses similar to those seen in the period trials images.
Till then.... All thoughts and feedback are eagerly sought and encouraged.
If you've made it this far... thank you. Regards David

I like the Russian WW1 armored cars very much and You've definitively made a great work! The AM itself is very nice and the scratch both clean and crisp. Gilles
