Sorry about raising the topic of the Russian Madsen again, but it strikes me that despite Russia being the only major power to use this weapon in numbers before and in WW1, images are thin on the ground.
This page has dozends of high-quality photos of Tsarist troops during the war against Japan, including infantry, artillery, medical services, and cavalry training with Madsen machine guns:

According to the Osprey book "The Russo-Japanese War 1904-05" a few Masdens were sent to Manchuria but there is no evidence they were used in combat. Note the last major battle was at Mukden in Feb-mar 1905. So it looks like the Masdens got there too late to see combat. Also note many Russians had their white tunics and caps tie dyed Khaki and the shade varied widely. There are pictures of Her imperial highness hospital train. I don't read Russian but based on a photogragh on Alexanderpalace.org section Imperial transportation it looks like the train was sponsored by the Dowager Empress Marie Feodorovna. She sponsored a hospital train with similar markings in WW I. The woman in the center of one of the pictures looks like her. I hope this is of some help.
Have some errata picture 1.2nd Siberian Medical train of Grand duchess Maria is most likely Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna. 6,Medical train of Her imperial Highness the woman in the center not in a nurses uniform is most likely Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna. The tsar's sister Both these women sponsored hospital trains in WW I and from these pictures did so in the R-j war
