28mm Mark V* Tank
Permalink

Hi,

As a wargamer, I have lobbied a couple of wargaming manufacturers about producing the Mark V "star" tank for 28mm scale to no avail. No one makes it in 28mm as far as I know and only Cromwell do it in 1/72. As I notice a few modelling companies contribute to this forum I just thought I would raise the question.

I realise alot of time and money must go into set up costs to produce a model like this but it wasn't exactly and obsure vehicle with so many being deployed in the final battles of the war. As a wargamer I certainly wouldn't just buy one. I look forward to hopefully having a platoon rumbling across the table one day smile

Early War Miniatures also do a Mark V*. It's the male version. However, it is for 20mm gaming, not 28mm.

Brigade games do a MKV but not a MKV* as far as I know no one produces one in the scales that 28mm will fit with.
