Great news, scale is 1/35 almost certainly. Will buy a few sets when they come out. Hopefully other WW1 stuff is planned. There is a shortage of French figures in 1/35. I think the earlier Franco/Prussian figures can be adapted as the uniform did not change that much apart from colour. Also wondering how much it changed up to WW2, apart from colour, as Tamiya do some French WW2 figures.

I also would like some new sets in 1/35. It would be great to have early Germans (in pickehaubes)

Only German figures I know of are in 1/32 scale from Armies in Plastic, and as complete figures difficult to modify. Thats why I like the ICM figures.

For German figures, how much did the uniform change from 1870. The ICM Prussian figure set has 2 figures with helmets.

Master Box seems to be one of the best firms around for figures in 1/35 - I've only seen photos, but the sculpting and the poses are excellent. I know they do a PzKfw 1 kit, so wonder if they'd turn their hands to some WW1 tanks? Obviously not the FT though, since RPM, Meng, and (if it eventually appears) Italeri cover that.

Rather than tanks, some motorized road vehicles would be welcome. Presume Airfix will re-release the Type B bus in military colour, but there are plenty of lorries which could be produced in 1/35. Some are already available in 1/48(including Ford ambulance from RPM). I have converted a few Dennis fire engine kits to ordinary lorries.
