I don't think the 5-ton tractor was 1920s. 

11,150 were ordered in 1918, 1543 were accepted by the Armistice and 3480 accepted by 31 Jan 1919.

The US Army had many more tractors than they needed for peace time establishment so production was ended in early 1919.

The 5-ton tractors were in service throughout the 20s.

The intro to the Landships II article on Holt SPGs has a section on the Holt artillery tractors -

There are a few posts about the Holt artillery tractors on the forum, including one with a link to Pathe or Criticalpast where they are shown being delivered to US troops. Definitely WWI. There are photos of them in use on the Western Front.

Here's the link. It's been updated. The ship is named as SS Anglo Mexican, which checks out, and the port as Bordeaux.
