Things are moving along with companies realizing there is interest in WW1 and coming up with some good kits. Just hope someone has a tank or two and even some artillery in the pipeline ?

�PS just been to ICM and noticed a 1910 Russian Maxim is the next release after these figures.!

The ICM listing is "Austro-Hungarian Infantry (1914) (4 figures)". Not my area of reference so question is are they accurate ?

Yes, they are accurate as Austrians. Hungarians had tighter trousers

Who ever does the masters for ICM is a superb craftsman. �These figures are excellent; as are the accouterments. �Identifying Hungarian soldiers not in the common army(KuK) ....To me, the trouser braids, usually gold in color ( two extending down the front about 8 inches or so ) provide the visual distinction of the Honved.

does anyone know if Miniart and ICM are working together as there are some kits duplicated in both ranges including the Russian Maxim machine gun.
Yes it does look like the manufacturers have realised there is money to be made. The BBC launched its plans this week, with 4 years of potential projects. Living as I currently do in Accrington, Lancashire, WW1 is a very important part of local history, and the tragedy of the first day of the battle of the Somme, fits right in the middle of the commemorations.
