Zvezda small WW1 British set
Permalink

While looking at the models2u site I notice on the WW1 future releases

British Infantry z6904  £2-99 and z6900 British Vickers machine gun crew.

Anybody know anything about these - are they starting a mini series on WW1?

Possibly a new Art of Tactics game theres several sets listed on models2u  as WW1 including a stokes mortar but I cant find any confirmation for this so far on the Zvezda site...

That's rather exciting. German sets too - never heard of a 75.8 Mortar, but I don't think 0.4mm will make a difference in 1/72.

Nothing on Zvezda's facebook.

They have a lot of new items listed not shown anywhere else so perhaps they have news planned announcements, presumably at the Nuremburg Toy Fair in a couple of days time. Personally I would prefer it if they went back to the larger box format but I think that is just wishful thinking now

Ive just seen the 6 "kits" game pieces whatever... it looks like Zvezda are planning an Art of Tactics game for WW1, slated for 2014...

There is a link to the new catalogue on the Zvezda Facebook page and there are indeed a number of WW1 game sets planned.
