1. I see on landship II that MW have brought out a photo etching set for the mkI male. Who exactly are MW and can some point me to the right site please to looking at them.
2. Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that sells Black Lion decals for the MkI and II sites. The only site I have found was the lonewulf site and my money was returned as they were out of stock (- the trans supply tank conversion for the Airfix WW1 tank was also out of stock). The decals would be useful for all those mkI and II that are coming on stream.
Go to Black Lion decals themselves, I have bought decals from them direct and I have had no problems with postage to the UK, fairly quick too .. great guys to deal with .. !. I recommend them ..
I also agree with you in your post above .. "Who exactly are MW and can some one point me to the right site please so we can look at the etch " .. ??
Even that etch has the same error as Master Box! The number of rivets on the rectangular bracing plate is incorrect and should be 7 ( rear right to front left) and 13 (rear left to front right) counting the centre rivet in each case. There should also be a mirror image bottom plate. The 13 rivet diagonal is that which is cut to fit. Sorry.

Hi! Unfortunately decal for MK-I of Black Lion is very simplistic and not accurate. We are currently developing a special decal set for tanks from the Master Box tanks including Palestine tanks, MK-II, MK-III and Supply. I hope, that it will be ready no later than a month. Here are its preliminary design:
Is there any way it might be possible to have the retailer correct the rectangular bracing plate before going into full scale production. It is such a shame for the etch to be spoilt by an error. I know it is, maybe, nitpicking but I'll not be the last to mention the rivet count.
i don't have the original photo to hand, but it can be viewed on the 'Building the Master Box Mk1 tank' thread. I will also post once again when I have access to my original photo. Don't spoil 'the boat for a h'peth of tar'.

I have taken the liberty of sending details to Nira Hobby of the error in their Part No 5 (the rectangular bracing plate) as they have made the same error as MB. 9 rivets in both directs (centre included), rather than 13 / 7 as per the only surviving tail unit at Bovington.
That's it - off to Gatwick and away to Cuba now!!
