Well I have nearly finished construction on the 1/72nd Uberlandwagen. I added more details to the cab including: 2 reservoirs, foot pedals, and linkages. The details were copied from photos in my A7V references. I have also started on the roof. The roof kit supports were poorly made so I scratched some from Evergreen styrene strips. The roof looks really warped but it is not as bad in reality. Of course it is not attached at this point. I will add some strip brass to the supports to pull them straight when I glue on the roof. The side tarps will also be added last to avoid problems.
One small suggestion if I may, for some reason Emhar left big gaps between the track links where they go around the drive and idler sprockets in reality the web under the track would fill this in as the links open up on the sprockets. On the Emhar A7Vs I've built I filled the gaps in with thin strips of 10 thou card... not essential but it does improve the look.
Cheers
Bern
