News on the "Oberschlesien Mockup"

So it seems that there's finally some answers to the questions raised by the tantalizing "possible Oberschlesien mockup" photograph in this post:

It appears that the mockup was for a French vehicle under consideration in 1940, and was captured in the factory.  See more here:

Wow, definitely a Mockup in a French Hall, see the sign above the left (L'interdiction) de FUMER (No Smoking) and a German soldier from the 2nd World War.

Thanks for the information.

What a great find!

I wonder if it was the AMX Tracteur C? I've seen numerous drawings and there appear to have been a number of versions, none of which quite matches this mockup, but perhaps it represents an iteration I've not seen before?

Oh, excellent. I do enjoy it when we undertake a spot of detective work and come up with a solution, Most satisfying.

It is the full-size mockup of the front part of the ARL Char C > French Tanks and Armoured Vehicles 1914-1940, Francois VAUVILLIER smile

Aha, now we know who bought the photos on eBay!

And who is behind the website Chars français, incidentally, a great source for me!
