Mira mi hilo para ver cómo se puede mejorar el dosel.  Remove the diagonal bracing strips from the canopy, fix the mesh in place and then use styrene strip to replace the diagonal bracing outside the mesh.

I shall be very interested to see how the pre shading works/looks after the application of camouflage. My build will 'hold' at the primer stage until then.

Hmmmm! I am not going to put my neck on the line but, a Mk1 with steering tail and grenade canopy would, almost certainly have had a camouflage finish applied. I standby to be corrected by Mk1 Nut el al.

Well, I think the MK grenade with steering tail and canopy existed just a few weeks until these additions were discarded right?Â
I had read many MKI came out painted in khaki brown, navy gray or green.

I've heard grey, and I've heard of Solomon painting up one and having help to paint up some more. And then I thought they were repainted by the crews in a less startling camo scheme. Pretty soon they were painted a muddy brown, is something I've also heard. Not heard of any of them being painted green. But, hey, it's your model, whatever brings a smile to your face! I think a grey or a brown would be my choice.
And I think you are right about the anti-grenade screen; less than half the Mk1s used them, and those that did, did not for long. I'm just not even using those parts on my model. And many crews improvised a box to fit on the tail assembly and carry grease, water, shovels and spades &c. That would take care of the too many, or not enough, bolts, nuts, or rivets that the kit has (or has not).
It's really only about what makes you happy - nobody else. My opinion is this kit can be built almost straight out of the box (it's missing gun sight slits) and be 6000% better than Airfix and Emhar.
But if you are making a specific tank from the Battle of Flers-Courcelette, and it had a grenade screen and you have a photo of its camo scheme...
