I have just bought the Brigadelok by Minitrains. In contrary to what was mentioned earlier, the locomotive is 1:76. I do not have grey Heeresfeldbahn version yet, but it is on its way. Below a quick picture of my locomotive on my mini dio ... the figure is 1:76.
Below an image of the grey Heeresfeldbahn version with one of HFB rolling stock.
Guess they would work great together with the German figures by W^D Models. You can alsmost imagine something like this:
There has been quite some discussion on the scale of this locomotive. Several people on the Narrow Gauge Railway Modelling forum have measured it and have concluded that it is about 1:76, but definitely not 1:87. I also compared the size of the loco with a 1:67 and a 1:87 figure:
As you can see the little Preiser figure is too small ... compared to the real locomotive, the model even stands a bit lower on its wheels.
Cheers,
Jeroen

It does make more sense at 1/76 scale as there is so much available for military railway modellers. Also if it had been done in 1/87 (HO) it would be better on 6.5mm gauge not 9mm gauge, which is slightly too big for 1/76.
I have produced a body for 1/35 and 1/43 using 3D printing. I was waiting to see what the Minitrains version would be before considering smaller scale versions. I might now be tempted to produce it in 1/87 scale. 1/55 (5.5mm/ft) close to 28mm wargaming scale is another scale I am working in.
