Asked the Airfix customer service about the release date of the announced new-tooled 1/72 WW1 sets: German field gun with crew, British field gun with crew, French early war infantry.
The answer is: "These are due in December at the moment but maybe put off to next year."
If we show interest in these sets, they might be pushed forward. You might want to send an inquiry to customercare@hornby.com
I dont find it surprising Airfix/Hornsby seem to have had some problems with suppliers in the last few years.... hopefully we will see see the kits sooner rather then later
