An excellent but I suppose expensive kit, comes with a CD with photos and instructions, makes into a really nice model.

Looks very nice, but, 1/45?? Was that a typo (for 1/35), or is it really in such an odd scale?

It's 1/35th, as I have one sitting in my workshop ready to be made!!!

Sorry should have been 1/35 - it must be my aged fingers.

Hi DaveS

I totally agree with your comments, expensive... But...Excellent detailed resin parts, a cracking kit and where else can you get a 1/35 Holt

regards
Pete

Well you could scratch build one.
I did before I bit the bullet and bought the Resicast one.
It is not as good but here are some pictures.

Hello,

I am very impressed with both of your efforts!  I have the Resicast Holt and 8" howitzer kit.  I guess it is not impossible to build after all...smile

Great work,

Rob

I found it to be quite a nice build, the parts are well moulded and fairly clean.
The instructions, bar a couple of errors are very good.

Hi ..

I agree with DaveS comments above, it was an easy build as is the Howitzer and limber. Just need the new driver figures being released soon from Tommy's war range and its completed

regards
Pete

I thought they were 54mm (1/32) and so a little big?

Well that's what the guy manning their stall at Telford told me.

The Resicast driver is supposed to be 1/35, I have one on a 1/35 vehicle and compared to Tamiya and Emhar 1/35 he does seem small.

Very good idea - but... where are you found the drawings?

I found some basic ones online for the chassis and tracks - will try to remember where.
The rest was from photos and so on.
