This is the GB-Modelli Obice 305/17 on DeStefano carriage and Tratrice Pavesi. This scene depicts the gun and tractor abandonend during the retreat of the Italian army in November 1917,in a village near Udine.Austrian troops are conversions of Hät,Emhar,Caesar miniatures and Airfix figures, the horse cart jadar models.Houses are made of plastic sheet and every thing else scratch. It's not finished yet, some touch ups with paint will be needed and I'm still not quite sure about positioning of the figures. GB-Modelli's kits are exraordinarily nice, crisp detail plus perfect fit ,a real fun build!I'll post more and better pics when it's done. Merry christmas to all of you!

Thanks Paul,Tim and Giorgio!Giorgio, your kits were a pleasure to build.I usually do only WW I aircraft related dios but this got me kinda hooked on armour modelling:Those are build fast (compared to biplanes with lots of rigging)and offer many possibilities to improve painting and weathering techniques,my favourite part of modeling.I'll do some close-ups soon to put on your blog if you wish to.  ciao  Matz
