I've had a discussion with Mr. Moore, and he's made a number of corrections. He's anxious to improve things, and says he'd welcome input/advice/amendments from the Landships cognoscenti. Volunteers?

The site is a noble effort and I wouldn't want to criticise the work of someone who is genuinely interested in these things. If I did I'd soon run out of friends. I do feel that the information needed to correct the site is readily available if Mr Moore referred to some of the more worthwhile sources (i.e. those written on paper, and written by acknowledged authorities). What would also help would be if he cited his sources, like Wikipedia! I could also add credit the original researchers but I guess that's going too far.
I do feel he's to be commended on his willingness to allow the photos to be used by others, if acknowledgements are given. For my part, I prefer to spend my time working on the unknowns.
You're right, Gwyn. I shall suggest to Mr. Moore that he consult some authoritative works.
Chin chin.
