Little Willie Turret details
Permalink

Hello all, does anyone have any photographs or drawings of the 'proposed' turret for Little Willie? I have searched this forum, and have got the photos and plans that are on here, but there is nothing concrete that I can see, or find anywhere on the internet. Any help would be gratefully received. I model in 1/76-1/72 scales, so any plans in this scale would be better.

Many thanks in advance,

Grant

I sell a Steering Carriage "add-on" kit that fits my Lincoln Machine paper model.
It includes the proposed Turret (based on the existing photos and available info).

I haven't seen "plans".

You can check my posts in past threads about Willie (here).
Some original photos have been posted.

Only the shell of the turret was fitted, and it was only in place for a very short time...maybe only a few days.
as seen here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/1d/LincolnMachine.jpg/1280px-LincolnMachine.jpg
When the Tritton tracks were fitted, the turret had been removed permanently.

As I mentioned...there has already been some discussion about the proposed turret
in some of the other threads (here) pertaining to Little Willie.
If you don't find what you need, maybe my paper model design will help you out.
I sell just the "add-on kit" for $4...its a PDF download.

If you want one, let me know (rather than ordering through the shop) that way I can send it directly.

Cheers airdave, looks like I'll have to apply a bit of 'modellers licence' and make it as I think it might have looked.
