I'm rather happy! Usually when I turn to a conversion or a scratchbuilt, a new offer comes before I complete my own.

This time I finish this Whippet just before the new Takom!

 

The kit itself claims for some improvements like Takom tracks, new tool boxes and some minor improvements :

I think my first Takom kit will be Russian, even not sure it will be red or white one.

Thank you very much!

The model is definitively crude but the detailling work isn't sa difficult in fact.
I'm sure the Takom will be in a different range, but until it will be avaliable I will maybe convert my second Ehmar to built a Russian one with the 37mm.

Excellent job Gilles. One thing in favour of using these older kits, is that you can practice/improve your skills without fear of wasting your hard earned money.

You're right about old kits. I don't know why I feel sometime more motivated building those oldies than most of the new ones...

Maybe the research and the corrections help me to maintain focus on one model istead of turning to another!

And This is NOT to say I'm not happy to see so many new WW1 models! We are very lucky those times with the news!
