A scratchbuild to fill some spare time while on holiday. I did some 3-view drawings based on published dimensions and photos on the internet. The tracks were modified from the Emhar Mk IV kit, everything else is plastic sheet, strip and rod. The hatch on the top is speculative, as I haven't found any pictures showing the access, I suppose it could have been in the turret, or even underneath.  The colour is cockpit green, with a wash darkened with black. I need a lesson in washes, as its come out as a patchy finish, not what I really intended, but on the whole I'm pleased with it. The tracks were painted rust and drybrushed with steel.

Very nice work!  Do you have any in progress photos?

The build photos are taken on the dining table or window sill in holiday cottages, not known for good lighting smile

I forgot to take any in the early stages, but only the side frames would really show anything other than bits of rod or strip. All the fiddly bits aren't documented either but in the end it's just sticking lumps of plastic together.

Picture No.5 is the assembled sides with the hull/gearbox assembly sat between them sat in position on a clothes peg. Picture No.1 is those pieces assembled. No.2 is the diagonal tubes added, No.4 has the tracks and gun fitted, No.3 the hatch and axle housings added.

Steve

Even after renaming the images they still appear out of order, sorry about that. I can't see how to correct it.

An excellent bit of scratch building Steve...so don't be hard on yourself about the photos not being in order.
