That motorbike looks superb. Now I will be able to represent one of my Great-Grand-Fathers who broke his leg when he came off a motorbike in 1917 at Houplines, France whilst he was inspecting IWT operations.
Sounds interesting ,thinking about some figure sets hadn't thought of one of those !!!
I will be selling 2 bikes in a set.As to figures I want to continue the Middle East range. So two separate sets one Middle East the other Western Front.
The only working Vickers motorcycle combination, the 1917 Matchless, is now in the Tank Museum at Bovington, placed on long-term loan by the British Motorcycle Heritage Trust after a friend of mine sold it earlier this year
Excellent... I've been scratch building a Triumph Model H on and off for a couple of years now and the promise of a rider should spur me on to finally finish itÂ
I may just have to have a Clyno too as it's so cute!

Here's a fantastic photo of Douglas 2.75hp machines and their riders out in Gallipoli (recently back from a fantastic fortnight out there, sadly didn't find any left-behind motorcycles or other vehicles though)

Although clearly Barry is not actually interested in selling any of them otherwise he would have provided a link, or tell you where to get them from, just anything really....
