Hi guys not been around much these past couple of weeks & again hardly an bench time, but have managed to crack on with the base a bit Thanks for the kind words Tony, never entered a comp before but I did visit the Telford show at the end of 2015, Cheers T140 Quite theraputic but its nice to get a bit of plastic back in my hands lol

Heres the base build so far, Managed to get hold of a couple of old ww1 maps (out of some old throw away books) to be used around the mud base

Made a track & sledge jig for the mud (pic enclosed)

nice one Grant, I think my challenge is going to be matching the mud on the ground and the mud on the Tadpole, Im hoping once its all painted a couple of washes over the whole project will do the Job.

Hello Rich, I have always seemed to be attracted to the unusual and different bits of military kit, so I've followed this build with great enthusiasm. I do hope that one day I will get to see your finished diorama in 'the flesh' at a model show.

What a fantastic project and thanks for producing a set of plans, I'll definitely be putting them to use for a 1/72 scale version to tow behind my Mk.IVs.
I've often thought about doing a supply sledge but the lack of good photos and known dimensions has always put me off.

I really like how yours is all coming together and will be watching with interest.

Nice Bern, Im enjoying this build, Im not into fast builds as my free time comes when it comes lol, glad the plans for the sledges will come in use & really looking forward to seeing them being used (the plans are only my interpretaion of what I see in the pic's, ltd to what we have avalable)
A few more creats to be made for the second sledge then onto the painting, lots of painting ...........

Its been a while since I posted any updates on the Tadpole & Sledges (Real life stops any keen modeller.....but not for long ha ha) anyhow nearly finished painting 1st sledge, im going to save all the pigment side to end so as to match the whole model & dio together.
Thanks for looking, starting the second sledge now
