Are these WW1 ?

Artillery isn't really my strong point so hopefully these pics are something of interest and ok to post.

I was on holiday 2 years ago in thew south of Spain and there were two  of these guns at the hotel by the main pool. They have been painted up to look rustic and the padding on the back end to stop little kids from running in to them, but the guns looked fairly complete to me.

So I was wondering, are they WW1 era and what are they?

Cheers

Ian

Possibly but unlikely. The mangled howitzers are/were Canon de 155 C Mle 1917 Schneider. The howitzers were introduced in French Army service

in 1917 alongside the very similar Mle 1915. They were sold to many countries after WW1 and saw service in WW2. I don't know when Spain bought

the Schneider howitzer - at a guess it was probably after WW1.

Regards,

Charlie
