Ricardo Engine Workshop Manual
Permalink

I am looking for a copy of, or pdf etc. any format of a workshop manual for the 250hp Ricardo engine for a Mk.V male preferably. The sort of thing which would have been issued to repair crews to strip and repair an engine in the field.

I have technical drawings from the MLRS books but not actually the manual or instructions. I am sure there must be such a thing. Wondered if anyone could steer me in the right direction.

Thank you

Presumably you mean the 150hp Ricardo. To my knowledge there wasn't a 250hp version.

Having said that, I don't have one. Have you tried The Tank Museum Archives?

I was told the engine concerned was a 250hp but I don't know. - I would yield to your knowledge of them totally. The archives are currently utterly unresponsive to enquiries.
There must have been manual printed and many many copies so I am sure there's some around.

Ricardo are still in business so why not email them to see if they have an archive department. You may just strike lucky

I had tried previously without response but I'll try again. Thanks for reminding of this incomplete task.
