Usable ww1 figure ?

Hello

I am still in search of a suitable figure to accompany  my WW1 Gaza Male (Otazel)

I found this british officer from "the Bodi" ,(North Africa, WW2) but can it be used for WW1 Gaza setting (uniform wise) ?

Rob

I am not into uniforms
I thought short trotsers, no gaitors , no visible webbing ,
So what could be wrong ?

Enough, I understand🙁

Just for my information ....
can you please tell me what is wrong with this figure

so i can search for a more correct figure

Greetz Ronald

Hello
Maybe the ICM Anzac WW1 infantry can be a good base?

I am not a specialist of this area .....
Best regards
Olivier

The pose of these Figures is not what I was looking for
But it looks like this is one of the very few options I have......
So I might reconsider .
Maybe a different (hornet) head will do the trick .

Thans for your input.

Have you checked the WW2 figures depicting North African theatre ? As you say "Maybe a different (hornet) head will do the trick ", along with some arm/leg conversion
you should be able to sort a figure out !

I checked several ww2 N Africa figures some of them very suitable for my needs, but according reactions (also on this site) the uniforms are not correct .
(See earlier posts in this thread)

But Thanks for your input

Greetz Ronald.

Hello Ronald,
but for me it is still not clear what is wrong with the uniform of the figure you suggested.
Onyone who can explain? What should be altered?
Hope to see some reactions. I can learn from them too.

Best regards,
Willem

Regarding the original figure, he would need some serious converting ! First off his rank badges would need to be removed, then his "tank top sweater" would need disguising/removed ( appeared in the 1920's ) and finally the shirt collar needs removed. A Hornet head with WW1 headress would need to be fitted as well I think !
