i know some country's armed their renaults with other machine guns.

the swiss (there is a restored one in panzermuseum Thun)

the lithuanians

the finnish

the dutch (1)

i have plenty of photos of the Dutch vehicle, and photo's of the restored one in Thun.

does anybody have some good photo's of the mounting of the machineguns of the lithuanian tanks??

and finish tanks??

also perhaps a contemporary pic of the swiss mosquito tanks as they called them.

any help is welcome.

i wil try and post some of the dutch vehicle this weekend.

thank you so much!!!
got 2 shots right in the front of the turret great!!
now i can at least build a good lithuanian one!!!

did the finn's or swiss also make it with a ballmount?
the restored one in thun is more like the dutch one, original mounting but with a german machinegun.
but i don't have original pictures.

We've talked about the tank on this postcard before, but I can't find the post now. It's a Renault body with an M17 turret, and the gun could be an M1917 Browning.
If you notice, there are rubber pads on the tracks, which we discovered were to prevent damage to road surfaces when the tank was used in parades, etc. Didn't we find some photos of such an event?
And the caption is very interesting. I had a chat with Steve Zaloga about why the USA would want 200 FTs when the M1917 tank was just coming on stream. If they were debt repayment that could be the answer.
