the restored one in thun is more like the dutch one, original mounting but with a german machinegun.
but i don't have original pictures.
We've talked about the tank on this postcard before, but I can't find the post now. It's a Renault body with an M17 turret, and the gun could be an M1917 Browning.
If you notice, there are rubber pads on the tracks, which we discovered were to prevent damage to road surfaces when the tank was used in parades, etc. Didn't we find some photos of such an event?
And the caption is very interesting. I had a chat with Steve Zaloga about why the USA would want 200 FTs when the M1917 tank was just coming on stream. If they were debt repayment that could be the answer.
