Mark V tadpole question
Permalink

Good morning!

I am making a Mark V tadpole by taking the tale of the Takom Mark IV tadpole and the front of the Mark V.

I base this on three known photo's.

One is in a book bij David Fletcher. It is Mark V 9001 with a tadpole tale. I can not reproduce it here.

The other two are attached (one is 9001 and the other is 9277).

Is there any other known photo of a Mark V tadpole?

Hope to hear from you,

best regards,

Willem

As you'll be aware, 9001 was a Male and 9277 a Female, and yes, there are a few other photos of both. However I am not sure I can publish them either!

Try a letter or email to the Tank Museum and ask what they have in their collections.

Gwyn

I was aware of that difference and I decided to make the female (so the 9277).
I noticed that on that photo you can see that the right track is "longer" tham the left one (one more trackplate added?)

Thanks Gwyn!
