Mark V tadpole questions (colours)

Good day to you all!

I just finished my Mark V tadpole. I did it by adding the tadpole tails of the Mark IV Tadpole tot the mark V (both Takom). My inspiration was the picture of 9277. A mark V female with her tails on.

Before I can think of painting a question rises:

There is obvious a colour difference between the tails and the vehicle itself. Any thoughts about the colours? Green for the Mark V and a brownish colour for the tails?

There are two numbers faintly visible on the front part of the Mark V (a 3 or 8 and a 5). They were over painted or worn off? Any idea about the colours of those numbers painted on the sides?

Hope someone can help.

Best regards,

Willem

The number is 850. It is a Home Service Number or training number, and would also appear on the glacis plate (the sloping plate in front of the cab front). The matter of colour is an open question and any answer pure speculation.

Thanks Gwyn!
Now i see the "0".

Speculation.............. If you would speculate ........ ( can i invite you to do?)
Would you say green for the tank (as seen on the Takom instructions for a after war vehicle) and a brownish colour for the tales (as they were from the war period)?

Thanks and best regards,
Willem

Sorry, I won't speculate on this. If you paint it one way and someone chooses to disagree, ask how they know any better.
