Replace the kit railings and platforms
Scratch build the two Vogele platform supports underneath the center section
Repair poor molding on the upper structure. I shaved off all the rivet and hope to reapply them.
Scratch build the sight and other elevation equipment
Thin down the roof section and straighten the warping
I plan on painting this with the multicolor camouflage, as seen on this webpage.
That's a great start, I have this kit with exactly the same conversion in mind so will be watching with interest. Good luck with the rest of the build.
