First to Fight are working on a 1/72 kit of what they are calling " Polish howitzer 100 mm wz.14 / 19 ". From what little I can find, this seems to be the Austro-Hungarian gun that Landships is calling "10cm Feldhaubitze M.14". I can see that the 14/19 version has a longer barrel, but are there any other major (visible in 1/72 scale) differences? Could I just shorten the barrel and use this FtF model with an AH crew? Or am I completely wrong and this is a totally different gun?
Hi PDA, not claiming any expertise but I am quite sure you are right in being able to use that kit with just shortening the barrel. Probably the gunsight was different.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skoda_houfnice_vz_14

Is this the same gun as the Hät 10cm Austrian howitzer? I will stick with this one for the time being, unless the FTF is much better. Providing it isn't way too small like their "75"
