Barnoldswick is still called Barnoldswick. Barlick is a local nickname.

Craig

I have just taken a look at this facebook page. On 14 September, someone posted a photo of the Ryde IoW presentation tank. At 23:12 that day you commented thus:

"The Ryde IoW tank is interesting, because whilst according to the presentation speeches all presentation tanks were in action at Cambrai, this one really was. It is also interesting because this tank was built as a Male, but at some point was fitted with female sponsons. At Cambrai (when it was a Male) the tank was D46 "Dragon III" commanded by 2/Lt J.T. Clark."

If you go to the Great War Forum, as you have, and look at this thread 1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/topic/106593-presentation-tank/, going to post #123 you will see that someone called Sidearm wrote:

That post was made on 18 November 2008, almost nine years ago, but I recognised the style. It was signed by "Gwyn", because as it happens, it is an open secret that I am Sidearm.

Really, if you're going to plagiarise other people's comments and pass them off as your own wisdom and research you could be a bit cleverer about it. Grateful if you would add a comment to your facebook page to clarify where you lifted the information from.

Thank you.

Gwyn (Sidearm)

I've had a Patriot Files feeling for quite some time.
