Too Late For St. Patrick's Day

I did buy the Meng kit of the Whippet, but one problem-it only offers the "buttoned-up" version, with maybe the top hatch being openable.  I originally planned to do a Russian incarnation, then thought maybe doing the version of British troops in Ireland instead.  Trouble is, I don't know anything about the Whippet's use in that conflict and could find no references.

What irony-the Takom kit was the one with the proper decals and the rear door the could be opened.  Slap me for this one.
