I am trying to work out how many of each type or batch of St Chamond tank were made. If you have any books or mags with clear photos, what I am looking
for is the serial number of the tank, and what batch it is.
The number can be 5 digit, like 52456 located lower front or lower rear hull, or a 3 digit like 706 on the upper side. The batch can be identified as follows:
Please don't steer me to google images, I think I have seen the lot. I don't need scans or links, just the number if readable, and batch. When I collate all this I will share it here.
You are welcome to post here or email me, gaztank61@gmail.com
User "tanker", who does look in on this forum, has published a list of Saint-Chamond tank numbers - this is his list (serious praise due for his effort)

Bottom line
Tanks from 62400 to 455 weren't equipped with a gun - used for training and supply
From 62456 to 62615 had the Saint-Chamond 75mm gun
From 62616 to 62800 had the 75mm Mle 1897 gun
3 digit numbers are the manufacturer's (FAMH) number - the tanks were allocated a 62xxx on official acceptance.
There weren't batches of Saint-Chamond tanks - the French manufacturing system didn't work that way. There was an evolution of
roof styles and cupolas during the production run.
