Hi folks, I'm a new user here, though I've visited the site for quite some time. I recently noticed in this photo below that there are actually two tanks in the background - one of which resembles a Schneider. Not sure if this could add to some information for this site's page regarding French Beutepanzers, but it did strike me as a very unique picture nonetheless.
The image shows a unit towing several guns by foot. They appear to be a designated Storm Battalion as they are wearing the mountain trousers and carrying Kar98AZ rifles. Their helmets are painted in camouflage which indicates this is likely from late 1918 (presuming it is indeed a wartime photo.) In the background there is what appears to be a Mark IV tank and a Schneider tank.

Awesome, thanks for the info! It's unfortunate we may never know how many Schneiders the Germans captured, but it seems to me like 1-2 would be in the range of 'probable.'
