Question in regards to the Tritton Chaser
Permalink

Gentleman

Does any one have any photo's diagrams anything showing the connection of the trailing wheels connected to the Tritton Chaser?

All the best

An eloquent silence, I'm afraid, Tim. I did have a try.

Takes down extremely long bow...

As a hypothesis let's say that Tritton and his were the same as any other engineers and resused existing designs to save time and money.

The Tritton Chaser tail design doesn't look much like the tail fitted on the Mother/Mark I but bears a resemblance to the tail fitted to Little Willie.

The mounting points for the tail on Little Willie were on the sides of the hull and seem to have been a stack of bolted circular plates with

the arms of the tail running in a groove created by the plates. There are pretty good images of the tail on Little Willie - perhaps that could

help with this problem.
