30.5cm M11 Morsler color

I am going to build a model of the CMK 30.5cm M11 Morsler what color would a WW I KUK Armee one be painted. In the pictures on this site it looks like a green color. Were any painted Brown H62?

Looking at contemporary Austrian postcards, one sees a mixture of greys.

Hmmm, a difficult question indeed! Moreover, there are some very bright examples as this one here :

I'm not quite sure about the colour, but a rather bright leather brown (Humbrol 118 ?) was also quite common when you compare the numerous exhibits in Vienna and Praque.

I would rather go with a very dark fir green , when you compare with the following pictures :

       

 

BTW. On Wikipedia you can see the original Skoda model in its (also) original colours at the HGM in Vienna :

You could probably make an argument for any of these colours.
