Minerva troubles.

A Minerva, one of the four captured by the Germans and pressed into service by them, being worked on. As is usual with these things one person is doing the work while others look on and no doubt give advice.

I wonder if the "Mechanic" even know what he is doing? I think they just wanted the fluids topped off. This is a wonderful job and I really like the story being told, thanks for sharing.

The Germans certainly captured two Minervas in 1914. I know that in some literature the number can be found as three or four (from what I remember in Kaufhold-Roll's book "Die deutschen Radpanzer im Ersten Weltkrieg"), but this is not supported by any evidence in terms of documents or photos.
