I am rather new to WWI modelling and thus have only recently discoverd this excellent site. Having found it such a great reseource these last couple of weeks I wanted to say thank you by sharing some photos, which I hope some of you will find interesting and useful:
The photos were all are a pretty comprehensive exterior walkaround of the well known Flirt II, a MkIV Female on display at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life in Lincoln. I know there are a couple of pictures of this example on the main site but I thought some more would be useful, especially as Flirt II is one of the options of the Emhar kit.
You will also notice a couple of extras (check Page 2), one of an early tank crew mask(?) and also of a captured German Field Gun (same type as included in Emhars German Artillery set)
I have had to significantly reduce these photos to a more managable side but if anyone wants any of the originals just get in touch.
Glad you found them useful Mark, let me know if you need the original size ones.
As you can probably tell I focused quite abit on the unditching gear as I'm looking to add one to my MkIV. Still not sure on the exact position of anything or if I have the correct chain size, the ones currently on Flirt II are clearly too small to be the original size.
